Coding Open-Ended Answers

Open questions are a popular survey method in quantitative studies. Regardless of the topic, but especially in the case of an awareness measurement (top-of-mind, top 5, etc.), touchpoint analysis, potential assessment or a customer satisfaction monitor, this quickly produces large quantities of open answers. Before these can be quantified or used for optimisations, the answers of the respondents must be categorised, i.e. coded.

For this task, intervista uses experienced coders on the one hand, and on the other hand, an AI specialised in this task is used for very large data volumes.
